Abel's Financial Calculators is a free, personal project. We keep data collection minimal. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where traffic comes from. This helps us improve the calculator.

Google Analytics collects data such as your IP address (anonymized), browser type, device type, and pages visited. This data is processed by Google under their privacy policy. We do not have access to personally identifying information through Analytics.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Feedback Form

The feedback form on the calculator page is optional. If you submit feedback:

• Name and email are optional — you don't have to provide them
• Submissions are sent to Formspree, a third-party form service, and delivered to the site owner's email
• Formspree may store submissions on their servers subject to their privacy policy
• We do not sell, share, or use any submitted information for marketing

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish users and sessions. No other cookies are set by this site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Analytics functionality.

Calculator Inputs

All calculator inputs (loan amounts, rates, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser. No input data is ever sent to a server or stored anywhere outside your browser session.

Third-Party Services

• Google Analytics — usage analytics (Google Privacy Policy)
• Google Fonts — fonts loaded from Google's servers (Google Privacy Policy)
• Formspree — feedback form submissions (Formspree Privacy Policy)

Your Rights

We do not directly store personal data on our own servers. If you submitted feedback via the form, that data is held by Formspree — you can contact them directly to request deletion. For Google Analytics data, use the opt-out tool linked above.
